Marshal’s Office

The Marshal’s Office consists of a Chief Marshal and two Deputy Marshals who are Georgia POST-Certified Law Enforcement Officers. The office is responsible for the enforcement of all county ordinances including nuisances, unlicensed businesses, unfit dwellings, illegal dumping, and zoning restrictions. We also enforce state and local environmental regulations such as erosion and sediment control for new developments, and we conduct stormwater infrastructure inspections.
