The Lee County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Opal Cannon Auditorium of the T. Page Tharp Governmental Building, located at 102 Starksville Avenue North, Leesburg, GA 31763. The purpose of this meeting is to set the 2026 millage rate.

The regular scheduled meeting of the Lee County Utilities Authority has been rescheduled from October 15, 2026 to October 8, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Opal Cannon Auditorium in the T. Page Tharp Governmental Building located at 102 Starksville Avenue North in Leesburg, Georgia.

The Lee County Utilities Authority has issued a precautionary boil water notice for residents at 118-146 Cherokee Lane. Please bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use, including for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, and making ice. This notice will remain in effect until laboratory test results confirm the water is safe. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

The Lee County Utilities Authority has placed a precautionary boil water notice for 119-149 Quechero Lane. Please boil water for any edible uses for 1 minute, including drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, and making ice. Once test results come back clear the notice will be lifted. Thank you for your patience during this time.

The boil water notice that was in affect for Alachua Lane has been lifted by Lee County Utilities Authority. You will no longer need to boil your water for any edible water uses. Thank you for your patience during this time.
