Board of Assessors March 2026 Meeting Change Notice

Due to a conflict, the March meeting of the Lee County Board of Assessors is being changed from March 9, 2026 to March 2, 2026 at 4:30. The meeting will be held in the conference room of the Tax Assessors Office located at 104 Leslie Highway, Suite B, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. The meeting is open to the public.

County Offices Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The offices of the Lee County Board of Commissioners will be closed Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday. Homestead Exemption Recalculation (County M&O Only)

The Lee County Tax Assessor’s Office is still actively working to correct an error in the calculation of Homestead Exemptions applied to property owners who submitted their Homestead application during the appeal period of July 1, 2025, through August 15, 2025.
