Qualifying of candidates for the May 19, 2026 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election and November 3, 2026 General Election will be held March 2–6, 2026. The qualifying period will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 and will end at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 6, 2026. The qualifying fees are as follows:

Local political parties will conduct qualifying in the Opal Cannon Auditorium located in the T. Page Tharp Governmental Building, 102 Starksville Avenue, North, Leesburg, GA.
