April 11, 2026
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
This annual event helps improve the appearance of our community by allowing the citizens of Lee County to bring their unwanted items to the landfill (located at 759 Highway 32 East) at no cost! Simply bring items that you no longer need to the landfill! Household garbage is not permitted at the landfill.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Lee County Code Enforcement Office at (229) 759-6000 or email us at randy.james@leecountyga.gov.
Prescription Drug Take Back
Bring unwanted medication for safe disposal at the Leesburg Police Department or County Code Enforcement Office – no questions asked. This includes legal and illegal drugs (no needles). Securely tie medications in a plastic bag to prevent misuse and protect children. Avoid flushing medications to keep them out of the water system.
Unserviceable Flags
American, Confederate, State or Military Service flags can be dropped off at any Lee County Fire Station and will be respectfully disposed of.
Old Tires / Hazardous Materials
Limited to four (4) auto tires per household. If you have any hazardous materials, please contact Code Enforcement and we will assist in the proper disposal of these types of substances.
