Homestead Exemption Recalculation (County Only)

The Lee County Tax Assessor’s Office has identified an error in the calculation of Homestead Exemptions applied to property owners who submitted their Homestead application during the appeal period of July 1, 2025 through August 15, 2025. This issue is related to the implementation of HB 581 and has since been corrected within the Tax Assessor’s system. Computation and Canvassing for the November 4, 2025 Special General Election

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-492 notice is hereby given that the computation and canvassing of the returns of votes cast in the November 4, 2025 Special General Election will take place in the Elections and Registration Office, 100 Starksville Avenue North, Suite B, Leesburg, Georgia.
