The offices of the Lee County Board of Commissioners will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. County offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Residential garbage collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

The Lee County Hospital Authority will hold a meeting at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Lee County Chamber of Commerce at 106 Walnut Avenue North, Leesburg, Georgia. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss board appointments and other business. The public is invited to attend and observe this meeting.

A Special Called Meeting of the Elections & Registrations Board will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 9:00 am in the Elections & Registrations Office located at 100 Starksville Avenue North, Suite B in Leesburg, Georgia.

The Lee County Board of Tax Assessors will hold their regular scheduled meeting on July 13, 2026 at 5:00 pm in the Tax Assessors Office located at 104 B Leslie, Highway in Leesburg, Georgia.
